How to Write A Good Blog Description for Paid Post Programs

A few bloggers have asked me for tips on how to write a good blog description. Now by blog description, I don't mean meta descriptions within your blog layout codes, but description of your blog for paid post programs.

I do not claim that my tips will definitely get you more paid post jobs, but if you can write a good description of your blog, you might get more advertisers to be interested in your blog.

A good blog description is just like your About Me section on your blog. However, you do not need to write about yourself. Just tell the advertiser how you started blogging and why. Explain what your blog is about, and be as specific as possible. If you can, explain what kind of writing jobs you have done and why advertisers should hire you to promote their products.

If you worry about your spelling and grammar, you can use Microsoft Word for a basic grammar and spelling check. Ask your blogger friends to read your blog description and perhaps they can give you some tips too. Make sure the description is short, but precise.
