How To Make Some Money By Decluttering Your Home

Over the years, we tend to purchase and collect things, sometimes items that we rarely use or wear. These stuff, if accumulated for years, could bring potential danger to your home and the people living in it.

Cluttered items collect dust, and could be home to pests like rats and cockroaches. Now we don't want these pests to breed in our homes, do we? Let's see what we can do:

Step 1
Declutter your life! Rearrange your belongings and get rid of things you don't really need. Sort them into boxes, whether they can still be used or can't be used anymore.

Step 2
Give them away. You can give them to your relatives and friends, that is if they don't mind hand-me-downs, such as old clothes, children's toys, books, magazines and so forth.

Step 3
Otherwise, you can also organise a garage or a yard sale. Advertise for free online, but make sure you only invite a limited number of people. You won't want too many people to invade your home! You can also check if there's any carboot sale in your area. Remember, one person's trash is another person's treasure.

Step 4
If you still have some unwanted things after the garage/yard sale, give them away as charity.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure you only give away things that are still in good condition. Be extra careful when inviting strangers to your garage/yard sale. Happy decluttering!
